Innocense by Michele Pescione
REVS magazine #3
This story is from REVS #3 BIRTH issue, back in 2012. Shot by New York based photographer Michele Pescione. This still remains in my mind as one of my favourite stories ever published in REVS magazine. It takes me to a past time, to an American beach holiday weekend of some sort. The feeling and atmosphere slightly changes from frame to frame, suggesting one thing while embracing the other. The models look free and in them you can see more than nudity or youth, you can surely feel more than that. There is a clear sense that what we are seeing is definitely a moment in time and not just a set.
It is almost as if they were all sharing the same thought, in front and behind the camera. It is hard to put into words but sometimes you can see it in a fashion story – a thin string connecting all those impossible to connect, the location, egos, fashion, expectations, moods and what not, right? You know what I mean. These frames are clean, focussing on the subject, natural and effortless, just right.
From the editors, thank you Michele Pescione for this fantastic REVS story, one of our favourites.
