“Boutique at the Amos Anderson Art Museum is a wide-ranging multi-art form exhibition that fuses fashion with art. The exhibition has been curated by Annamari Vänskä. Reminiscent of a department store of art with departments on different levels, Boutique is a total work of art with music and dance amply represented.
Boutique has been created in the spirit of collaboration and community. Five teams – each consisting of an artist and a designer – have created joint works of art. The teams are Paola Suhonen–Mikko Ijäs, Katja Tukiainen–Samu-Jussi Koski, Tero Puha–Teemu Muurimäki, Salla Salin–Timo Rissanen and Minna Parikka–Jani Leinonen.”
This text was taken from the website of Amos Andersons Museum. What this text doesn’t mention is that in addition to these 5 teams there is a 6th team. The missing team is the one exhibiting on the 6th floor of the museum. They do mention this team but only as a dance installation called Un fit by Anna Mustonen & Co.
To expand the information provided by the museum, the actual dance performance is also accompanied by a photography exhibition by Federico Cabrera and stylist Jasmin Mishima, a video installation by Timo Wright and sound installation by Heidi Lind.
Here is a preview of what you will find in the 6th floor, as a part of the Boutique Exhibit.
